Light soft rubber, suitable for allround play. Often being ompared with rakza 7 soft, acuda s3 is softer, lighter, lower throw, and more springy. I used them both on same blades, s3 is better for blocking, countering, chopping from distance, flat hitting. R7 soft is better for looping and touch (because s3 is more springy, touch shot can go slightly further than you want). I was pretty successful with two s3 rubbers on primorac off-, 1.8mm on bh was even good for chopping game (before this combo I've never manage to make chop in my career, although I practiced this occasionally; I'm not chopper, btw), and 2.0 on fh suited well for loop, counter, flat hit, push, block. This combo is far from from best in terms of spin and speed, but very easy for play, and good starting point for learners, also very light combo. S3 lacks some speed from distance of course, but if you play loop from distance you already have good technique and use faster combos.
Like some other donic rubbers, and specially because it's very soft, s3 can curl after some period of use, and then you have 2-3cm wide bobbles along whole edge of bat, which increases nerving. You can glue it again, but it will curl again soon. I once reglued rubbers before tournament, and they bubbled again after one hour. This situation I tried to solve by putting some baby oil on sponge, and it flattens rubber, but changes characteristic, rubber becomes even more soft and springy (but not the way speed glue would do this with sriver fx for example), less control, I don't like oil effect on rubbers.
Durability is about average, I think rubber after one month of use looks worn, but still can be used few more months.
