6th INTERNATIONAL TABLE TENNIS FESTIVAL FLORINA, GREECE 8-10/7/2022

The 6th International Table Tennis Festival of Florina, Greece will be hosted and organized by TTC “Sarises” Florina in cooperation with the Region of Western Macedonia and the Municipality of Florina, under the supervision of Western Macedonia’s Institute of Tourism and the Hellenic Table Tennis Federation (HTTF).

PARTICIPANTS
Upon request of the organizers or the Referee, participants shall present their passport/ID card as proof of age. Hygienic Guidelines will be in accordance with the Regulations of Greek Government.
GENERAL INFORMATION
-The games will be supported by experienced secretarial staff.
-All players agree to be under the supervision of the Organizing Committee and its agents in all matters concerning television coverage video, internet web casting, motion picture coverage, and photographic coverage of any kind.

PLAYING SYSTEM
 Single event: shall be played in 2 stages.
 In the first stage there will be qualifying groups of 3 or 4 players depending of the number of entries.
 If there are 5 players in an event, the event will be played in one group of 5 players.
 In the second stage, players having finished first or second in their group, will
qualify for the final events.
 Players having finished third or fourth in their group, will be entitled to play in the corresponding consolation events.
 Both competitions shall be played on a knock-out basis.
 If the number of players in an event is 5 or less, a second stage will not be played, and the winner of the group will be the winner in this event.
 ONLY for the Open event the first 8 male athletes of the Ranking list ant the first 4 female athletes of the Ranking list will proceed directly to the KO stage.
 Doubles: Directly Knock out.
 All matches will be played best of 5 games.
 Except from semifinals and finals in the men singles and women singles open, that will be played best of 7 games.
 The tournament shall be played in accordance with the Laws of Table Tennis and the Regulations for International Competitions.

RANKING
All participants will be evaluated according to ITTF ranking, ETTU ranking, Home country ranking, Event ranking. The organizing committee will evaluate the athletes who doesn’t fulfill the above criteria.
The final ranking of the tournament will be announced earlier and will be used to form the groups in all categories. Athletes from the same city or country won’t be situated in the same group. This does not apply in the case we have more athletes from the same city or country from the forming groups.

TROPHIES AND AWARDS
Medals and diplomas shall be presented by representatives of the Organizing
Association to the winners, runners-up and losing semifinalists of all title events

CANCELATION
The cancelation period is from 14-06-2022 to 20-06-2022. After 20-06-2022 the fees will not be refunded.

Veterans+ Open: 30€

DRAW
The draw for the qualifying groups shall take place at least three days before the start of the championships. The draw for the consolation events will take place in every category immediately after completion of the qualifying matches of the corresponding events. Seeding will be made on the basis of seeding lists.
Draw will take place three days before the first playing day and according to the tournament’s ranking. Minimum number per category is 5 athletes. The Organizing Committee will have the discretion to adjust the fixture lists system, if a category has less than 5 athletes.
