Uzivo meceve prenosi ittv.

Zhou Yu, Fang Bo, i Yan An, svi bili juniori do 2010...

Who is Zhou Yu? This was the question almost everyone was asking after last night's match in Zhangjiagang Stadium. After all, this 19-year old guy from the PLA Team just defeated notable names from the Chinese table tennis team like Ma Lin, Yan An, Zhang Jike, and Fang Bo in the recently concluded 2012 Chinese National Championships. Eventually, Zhou Yu was convincing enough to be proclaimed as the reigning National Men's Singles Champion.

Sohu Sports. Last night, October 14, the 2012 Chinese National Championships concluded with the proclamation of a new Men's Singles champion. After battling against Shandong's Fang Bo in an incontestable manner, 11-2, 11-5, 13-11, 8-11, 11-8, PLA's Zhou Yu was declared the winner.

"I have been playing with Fang Bo since childhood. In the two finals that we played, the results were all losses in my end. However, today, I really felt excited because I haven't won a Singles championship yet." Zhou Yu said smilingly after the match.

But, who is this Zhou Yu? Well Zhou Yu is a member of the Chinese Men's Table Tennis Team who was born in Jiangsu, started playing table tennis at the age of four and got in the Chinese National Team in 2010. With just a year in the strongest team in the world, this left-handed shake hand grip player, has already defeated Ma Lin in the Rotterdam trials: one of his early blockbusters.

Having his first ever Singles title in Zhangjiagang surely makes the place very memorable for Zhou Yu. In fact, it could be said that Zhangjiagang is considered as his take-off base. "I think today is a very good starting point. There is still a number of matches coming and this is just the start." Zhou Yu added.

On this note, could Zhou Yu be the next Zhang Jike of the Chinese National Team? For additional information on this young champion, Zhou Yu is actually good friends with the Olympic champion Zhang Jike.

Zhou Yu said that he is really good friends with Zhang Jike. "Against quite a lot of opponents, Zhang Jike has given me some inputs and those were really of good help for me." Zhou Yu admitted. Even though Zhou Yu will not say anything about his friendship with Zhang Jike, it is evident that the two are indeed good friends.

Just three days after the National Champioships, currently ranking 85th in the world, Zhou Yu will be playing in the Chinese Super League and will be under the Bayi Team with Wang Hao. This is another opportunity for Zhou Yu to show himself more and establish a better position within the Chinese Team.
