Nasao sam na netu jedan simpatican post o tome, evo ga u izvornom obliku:
We know this much:
LP player = cheats, has bad breath, dandruff, and possibly crooked teeth
Double inverted player = angelic, pure as the driven snow
Anti/Short pips player = no one is passionate enough to discuss these guys so back to LP vs. inverted
LP player = uses an $8 chinese LP sheet, the extravagant ones will buy Euro/Jap sheets costing up to $45 in the mistaken belief these are somehow better
Inverted player = spends thousands in the never ending search for the Holy Grail (the perfect rubber + blade combination) not to mention thousands more on coaching
LP player = no skills, but somehow deviously gets the ball back on the table
Inverted player = has a deep understanding of multiple scientific and mathematical disciplines necessary to understand throw angles, dwell time, degrees of hardness, grippyness, tackiness, flex, stiffness, proper percentage and combinations of various species of woods and exotic materials such as carbon, fiberglass, aluminum, titanium, uranium, diamonds, hardness, softness, impact of pore size on a sponge, how much of the top sheet and/or sponge to engage on a specific shot, click sound, ad nauseum. All of this knowledge is combined with intense training and a fitness regimen to craft a stroke that will get the ball back on the table sometimes
LP player = no power, at times prays for a strong tail wind such that the ball will make it over the net
Inverted player = hits with a speed that it is not visible to the naked eye or with spin such that it bounces out of the playing hall after contacting the opponent’s racket or preferably, a combination of both.
LP player = if he wins, he is accused of using modified equipment
Inverted player = if he wins, well, that is the normal order of the universe as it’s due to an exhibition of athletic prowess. Never mind that there are numerous open discussions on table tennis forums on what and how many layers of non-VOC emitting materials to apply to various inverted rubbers to increase speed and spin (i.e., modify their equipment to extract more rpms and speed from their equipment.)
